REGULATIONS for the Contest

 for the Rear Admiral Xawery Czernicki GRAND PRIX at the „BALT MILITARY EXPO 2010” Baltic Military Fair and the „SAFETY 2010” Rescue, Safety, Personal and Facility Security Fair

 

 

§ I

The topic of the Rear Admiral Xawery Czernicki Grand Prix, hereafter referred to as the “Grand Prix”, is equipment, products and designs for use in the Forces, the Fire Department, the Police, and in the Border Guard, hereafter referred to as the “products”.

 

§ II

Only firms participating in the  “BALT MILITARY EXPO 2010”Baltic Military Fair and in the „SAFETY 2010”  Safety and Emergency Fair can participate in the Grand Prix contest.

 

§ III

The products entered in the Contest should:

a)  be of use to the Forces, Fire Department, Police, or Border Guard

b)  meet NATO criteria and standards, as well as having obtained other certificates

c)   be state-of-the-art and innovative in design and technological

      solutions                  

d)   meet environmental protection standards

e)   be accompanied by a suggested price

f)    meet industrial safety standards

g)   be functional and appealing in their workmanship.

 

§ IV

The entry of a product to the contest will only be accepted with the following form: “Entry for the Rear Admiral Xawery Czernicki Grand Prix Contest” hereafter referred to as the “entry form”, which is Appendix 1 to this List of rules.

 

§V

Only one product per entry form.

 

§VI

The entry of a product to the Contest should be submitted only with the entry form and no later than 16th June 2010 to the following address:

§ VII

Exhibitors may enter more than one product to the Contest.

 

§ VIII

The conditions for the acceptance of a product to the Contest are:

1. The submission of the complete entry form within the deadline

2. A full description of the product, including:

a)  obtained test results, relevant certificates or attestations,

b)  user opinions confirming the product’s values,

c)   photographic or multimedia documentation,

d)   publications about the product in specialist periodicals and literature.

3. The entry form should be accompanied by a copy of the original of the

    documentation, and at the request of the Contest Committee the originals of the

    submitted documents should be presented for inspection on the first day of the

    Fair. Failure to make the originals available for inspection by the Contest

    Committee will result in default, whereby the product will not be assessed and will

    be crossed off the list of products taking part in the Contest.

4. The submission of a fee of  400 PLN (plus 22% VAT) per each product entered to

5. The submission of a copy of the wire transfer receipt no later than 16th June 2010

    to the address provided in par. VI.

 

 

§ IX

The exhibitor who enters their product to the Contest is obliged to provide full information required by the Contest Committee on the first day of the Fair through the Exhibitor’s Representative mentioned in the entry form.

 

§ X 

The entry and description of the product should be presented in Polish or English. It is acceptable to provide a sworn translation from other languages.

 

§ XI 

The contest fee is not returnable.

 

§ XII 

The Contest Committee will debate on the second day of the Fair and its session will be closed to the public.

 

§ XIII 

The results and list of awards announced by the Contest Committee is final.

 

§ XIV

1. The Contest winner will receive the BALT MILITARY EXPO 2010 and SAFETY  2010

    Grand Prix  statuette.                                                                   

2. There will also be three equivalent prizes awarded – The BALT MILITARY EXPO

    2010 and SAFETY 2010 Amber Medalions.

3. Each product entered into the Contest can receive only one prize. 

4. The announcement of the results of the Contest and the awarding of the prizes

    will take place on the second day of BALT MILITARY EXPO 2010 and SAFETY 2010.

 

§ XV 

1. Products submitted to the contest will be presented on the special booth located

    in the prestigious location of the exhibition. The contest exhibit may be the

    original device, its dummy, computer presentation, and for large products - model.

2. The list of products submitted to the contest along with a function description and

     technical data will be published in the internet and in the exhibion catalogue. The

     catalogue and information plates info concerning submitted products should be

     sent to the following address: monika.juszkiewicz@mtgsa.com.pl

3.  The results will be announced in public by the Contest Committee on the second

     day of  the fairs and published in the internet and other fair publications.

     Information concerning submitted products will be published in the exhibition

     catalogue

 

§ XVI

The submission of the entry form is deemed as acceptance of this List of Rules.
